Investigation of Iran's protests
The UN will arrange a special meeting on Thursday due to protests in Iran. People have been out to the streets since the tragic death of Masha Amini. Authorities tried to end demonstrations. As a result at least 378 people, including 47 children, have been killed. During Thursday’s session, diplomats will try to find a solution to the current situation in Iran. The current situation of women in Iran is very difficult and tragic. Protests are a big and brave step for the community to make a change. Although people sacrifice lives and fight for their rights they can't influence the government without help from the outside. The UN Human Rights Council should launch an exhaustive investigation into this case. Iran's community needs an effective resolution to the tragedy they are facing. I hope the UN will find a way to make changes against the cruel authorities and Iran's women will gain their rights. https://www.thejournal.ie/un-considers-investigation-iran-5926787...
